I just discovered this two days ago, too late for Xmas buying. And low and behold Dan Dennis is on right now. I don't see the wacky graphics and gimmicks he used to do, but the day is young. I know a lot of people think this channel sells cheap jewelry, but if you have a basic education in jewelry and watch long enough you will find some nice bargains. I frequently come here for a simple silver chain in any of the three possible colors. Easy to find for $10.00 in most lengths. I also have bought magnetic converters for less than on Amazon. In fact they were sold out last time I checked, but that is my next job today.

I have cable and we get it, but can't remember what channel or when. Would be nice to see Dan Dennis again.Remember him from back in the 80's on HSN.

Its Channel 88 on Dish, don't know the others. They carry a schedule 24 hours a day. What I'm hoping for is the $10.00 all day Fridays. There is a nice assortment of modest jewelry styles, close out clothing, and some complete dreck. Its been off for months, I don't know who pays who in these deals but it sure took a long time to reach accord.

I have FIOS and they are gone right now. I think Comcast still shows it. I never missed them, because most of the jewelry was junky. They had a few nice ones, (even some 18k) but that was hit or miss. I put JTV a litle higher in quality than LC. It's odd about Denis. Strange guy. He knows gems though.

That was back when they carried a lot of gem stones. So he was prominent then.

I "discovered" and started buying from Shop LC this summer. I got heavy into their auctions and got some really nice things for just a few dollars. The auction got to be a bit addictive, so I had to step back, but I still look once in awhile, and recently got a few more nice things. For instance, I got a sterling silver Claddagh pendant for $4.00. I find the TV selling to be informative and entertaining, as well as a bit "cheesy" at times. But it is always fun to watch. I have PLENTY of jewelry, so I need to stay away and avoid any more temptation. But I am glad to have access to the channel.

@SilleeMee today was Dan's first day back. Over the weekend I heard Loretta mention he would be returning on Monday morning [today].
@depglass the under $10 is still being done on Fridays. They did it Christmas Eve. They also do it on Tuesdays. They have said there might be a change to under $20 because it's getting hard to do ~ 48 hours per week of under 10.

I have no interest in watching it (especially Dan Dennis) but I noticed it's on Roku.

A poster on this board reported Dan's return some months ago, during DISH's dry spell. So maybe he left again. Maybe he's been sick, its all a big mystery. I just know I'm happy they are here, I'm home most of the time with this *&^% Covid and having jewelry on in the background is my first choice of TV watching. Gets me off my addictive news habit. Yes, there's some QVC and JTV, but I can easily spend 10 or 20 dollars on a Friday and not feel guilty. .
