Shawn's Ring

I saw Shawn's ring on ebay but the inscription is done in black. Do you think this is a knock off or maybe a manufacturer error.

On QVC it is not done in black - just curious.

I would email the seller and ask about it. It may just be the lighting that makes it look black.
