I lost interest when they started adding crystals to most everything. I have a steel bracelet with Diamonique, then after that bought a ring with white topaz, but am not a fan of crystals. For a while I searched for the line, then gave up as I didn't care for the new designs they were adding. Including My Extraordinary Life line, gag.

Agree about the crystals!!  Also, even in the Vicenza silver line they are using crystals!!  At least give me DMQ!!

What are you missing? There are 600 Steel By Design items online

From the first page of your listing above I counted 5 pieces that were termed Steel by Design.  The rest was called stainless steel.

I think they dropped the designer and started using a lesser stainless steel vendor.  That's why most people prefer the old Steel by Design pieces they got on QVC in the past.  The new stuff doesn't measure up to the old quality of Steel by Design IMO.

I have to disagree. I ordered a couple of items for DD recently that are just listed 'stainless steel', not 'Steel by Design' brand and they are really nice!

So nice that I ordered the same exact pieces for myself yesterday!

There was nothing "lesser" about it and we also own some by the 'Steel by Design' brand.

In our opinion, you couldn't tell the difference between any of them.

Why are we talking about stainless steel in the first place?  Why did QVC premier stainless steel as a metal for jewelry?  I remember seeing Antonella for the first time talking about Steel by Design jewelry.

Stainless steel jewelry is not a new concept in general.  Stainless steel on the Q has been around for years too.

Funny you brought up Steel By Design because just this morning I put on a lovely pair of their double crystal dangle earrings and I was thinking how nice they were...very good quality.(there's a pair for sale over on ebay for $29 shipping $4....go get them! ) and a beautiful vintage look. I also purchased two pair of their inside/outside oval hoops in the citrine and blue topaz colors and they still look beautiful. I too think the Steel By Dersign line was far better quality than what Q is offering now. I

I stopped buying when they kept adding crystals to it.  I like the items without all those crystals.

I still wear a Steel by Design gold plated watch that I got years ago. I love it. The crystal is scratched but other than that I think it still looks great.

I also have a two tone butterfly pendant. Can't remember any other pieces. It's really bad when you have so much jewelry that you forget.
