Either one is correct.  Really more of a speaking vs writing stylistic thing, IMO.

@Shanus  I love the ring.  I'm thinking about it in the lapis.  Question, I'm hard on my hands and would like to wear this on my pointer....do you think it's substantial enough for that?  Thank you.

@Misplaced Parisian   It should be fine. The metal looks thick enough and the stones are set in the metal and not prong set to catch on anything or get loose. Wear it well.
