IMHO, the quality of their jewelry went downhill when they started using fake stones and/or cheap coated stones. The quality used to be much better. But they wouldn't be the first line that succumbed to the HSN powers that be to produce it. All the jewelry is starting to look alike and the quality has skidded downhill. It seems to be all druzy and coated crystal. Like I said, just my opinion.

I have a beautiful stunning collection of Offerings (Sajen) jewelry from 10-15 years ago. Prices were incredible, they used lots of heavy silver, real gems and stones, these things are amazing.

Now I don't need anymore jewelry, and when they went to HSN I felt the prices went up and the quality down. I tried one item at first and it was so inferior to what I had from ShopNBC that it went right back. I don't like the fake stones, etc. or the pieces from India.

I wish them well, it must be tough to find the right outlet and market for their work but I never thought it would be HSN.

I ordered a couple of pieces on clearance, but the rest of my jewelry from them is the Offerings line purchased years ago. I'm so glad to have purchased the goddess items back when they were more affordable and using real gemstones. All the pieces are high quality and have stood the test of time. I'll miss seeing their live shows, but will use their website if I get a craving for a new piece of their jewelry.

I purchased a moonstone ring Item # 250-706, and was very disappointed, the stone did not in any way resemble moonstone, the quality was just not the same as the items I have from the Offerings line.

I noticed that all the Sajen jewelry was on clearance and wondered if something was up with HSN. I watched the entire show with Marianna and she never mentioned leaving HSN, but I noticed that Richard has not been on the last few shows. They are on the Canadian Shopping Channel, and the selection there was always better than HSN....more like the items from ShopNBC days. I always thought there might be trouble with Colleen Lopez. She is the boss of what shows up on her shows and she loves druzy and fake stones. I hope Marianna and Richard go back to ShopNBC (or ShopHQ). They had fabulous jewelry back then.

I hope they end up on another shopping channel - either the Q or ShopHQ.

The last two items I ordered from them were goddess pendants, and both of them came with cracked stones. One was larimar which is a more fragile stone, and it had a hairline fracture through the stone. The other was hematite and it had larger cracks that probably happened when it was set. It was disappointing.

On the other hand, earlier this year I ordered the window drusy with tassel pendant and necklace, and that was gorgeous. I wasn't interested in it until I saw someone else's picture of it. I've received many compliments on it. I know a lot of people don't care for drusy, but I love it. I love that it's cut from a geode. I just like all kinds of pretty rocks!

I always thought Colleen treated them with genuine courtesy and friendship.

I too have pieces from them from years back and the jewelry was expensive, but worth it.

MsKringle, great to see you here! I have that piece, too, and love wearing it. I think it's the only piece of jewelry from HSN I ever kept. The others have just had issues. I do have a lot of older Offerings/Sajen, and still pick up some fabulous pieces either on their website (There are still a few) or on ebay.

I'm still on the hunt for a couple of their mermaid that I *gasp* don't have, particularly one made in blue chalcedony/blue topaz.

I also have a ridiculous selection of their older labradorite pieces which are outstanding in their colorplay. The good pieces are still out there, you just have to hunt...which is more fun, imo! Smiley Very Happy

She did. Colleen was also the one who got them to come to HSN. When they first arrived to that network she told the story about how she saw jewelry in a sales flyer or magazine that she loved and contacted the company to see if they'd be interested in coming to HSN only to find out they were already committed to another network. But they left the other network and came to HSN (I'm assuming when their contract was up.)
