I quit watching Chuck and buying his jewelry a few years ago. His quality went way downhill when he went to silver as his primary metal. His gems are questionable at best unless it's a very very expensive piece.

I couldn't agree with you more.. I had bought Chuck's NYCII Morganite bracelet.. I have it stored in its original box & let me say this; one day I wanted to wear it for the first time & it had turned brown.. I read some of the other reviews and several people said the same thing.. I'm not buying any of his NYCII jewelry anymore..
Ruby is my birthstone and I don't own any ruby jewelry because the quality of yesteryear is no longer there.. Effy is known for their fissure filled rubies..
