Ripkanista Power: What Cause Do You Support?

Hi Ladies- While everyone's waiting for the next visit, thought we could use our waiting time to have a different sort of conversation-- and that is about charities and causes. As you all know, the Ripka organization is very supportive of charities and causes and actively contributes to several. On the Judith Ripka.com website they even have a statement that says "Judith Ripka is proud to support your charity."

Each of us have our special causes and charities that we support-- whether it be through donations or time spent working on behalf of our favortite causes.

So my question is this-- what is your favorite cause or charity? What kind of work do you do on its behalf? Why do you feel compelled to support this cause? Answer only as much as you want to share-- and is it OK if I share these with the blog? I'd like to show our Ripkanista Power (without names so as to protect the guilty unless you say so otherwise!). Thanks!
