Ripka's Pierced Earrings

Does anyone know whether the issue of the pierced earring posts being so thin that they bend and then break off? This never happened with Ripka earrings a year or so ago; the posts were always thick and solidly attached. I've had to return several pairs of earrings due to this weak post problem. I notice many product reviews that also mention this weak post problem. I know that Ms. Ripka is proud of the quality of her pieces, and so I wonder if and when this problem will be addressed. Thanks.
