Purchased a ring from HSN and could not get it over my knuckle.  I returned for next size up and now it's too large.  Any suggestions on where to purchase a ring guard type thing?

Helzberg jeweler will put on a professional metal ring guard for approximately $20.00.

I have one on a gold Judith Ripka ring (too big) that I did not want to have sized, because it had tiny diamonds in the shank.

The ring guard is very strong, sturdy, well-fitting and should last a long time.

You can also buy similar metal ones online, but it takes a bit of practice to put them on well.

If the band is too wide they might not work, because the metal ends have to fold down over the band.

If it's 14k or 18k, you can take it to an independent jeweler and they can add balls inside the bottom of the band. I did that many years ago and it wasn't expensive but who knows what it'd cost with today's gold price.

I know the balls well, having had them

They're so small, they really wouldn't be much.
