Return jewelry/watches without gift boxes?

Does anyone know if its okay to return jewelry or watches without the accompanying gift boxes they come in? I was sure I was going to keep two Brozo Italia pieces I impulse bought, so I tossed their boxes and now want to return them. I can't find any info about this on the website. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
