I bought this pendant maybe 8-10 years ago during a Q jewelry event.  It's has appeared frequently in subsequent shows and now appears in the promotion for Big Bonanza Silver Day.  I don't wear it often; it's in my jewelry box but is very forgettable.  I have matching earrings which I no longer see listed.  Could this be why QVC is struggling in the race for jewelry customers?  Stale merchandise.

There are some earrings it seems like they have each silver day with lots of circles layered. I didn't care for the buyer's choices this year, but did like the TSV bracelets, in the preview email.

I remember this pendant and the matching pieces. It definitely belongs to a certain time period, long gone. Why would QVC bring this back? It's not on trend and it's been done.

Right. Jewelry isn't an important category anymore at the Q. Probably found this  buried in the warehouse or bought with a steep discount.

@Kachina624Maybe someone who hasn't been shopping mass-market jewelry for years wants it.

For me, there's nothing QVC is going to bring for jewelry that I don't already have in some form.  The only reason I'll check in to a show once in a while is to remind myself of what's stored away that I might want to search out and wear.

But I have no idea who their competition is.  I am so unimpressed with jewelry almost everywhere.  Again, I suspect it's because I own way too much!

@Kachina624

It's interesting you found that.

I had a long day behind the wheel yesterday, I stopped at Sam's Club for gas and needed to stretch  my legs, went inside, got a drink and a pretzel (addictive!) and looked around the jewelry counter.

I was impressed with the variety, styles and price.

Q does the same thing with gold jewelry.  They desperately need new gold and silver buyers and vendors.

Re: Repetitious Jewelry Items

It's a 24hr warehouse sale. Going deep into the vaulted warehouse to try to sell off what's been there for years.

I saw lots of pieces I've owned in many yrs gone by, some pieces that broke and are in the trash, pieces I've given away, MANY I've sold off for cash. Few pieces for tomorrow are new, pieces with prices that are old, been here before and now they cost more. Now they're calling many of these "italian silver". Well no kidding, we hope for our sake it's italian silver and yeah some may be turkish of course depending on the design.

Not much at all new here to make us silver lovers be glued to the Q with phone in hand trying to beat out others scooping up items we just cannot live without. Once again not this year.

I used to enjoy the Black Hills gold presentations.   I'm in agreement, I haven't bought any jewelry on the Q for years.  While I have a sufficient armoire of the stuff I do find myself once in awhile buying something on HSN when they have a clearance sale.  The prices are sometimes too incredible to pass up!   Much better that the Q and many times free shipping.

Agree that they show the same stuff over and over again.  The sneak-peek merchandise is offered ahead of time so they have a better chance of getting rid of it.  Anything good (and/or new) isn't going to be on the website ahead of time; they will save it for the event day.
