I was just looking at some David Yurman on ebay and many of the vendors say that the ring is stamped with his name or with DY as an indication of authenticity.
I went to my jewelry box and pulled out my amethyst/18K/silver split shank rope ring and it doesn't have any kind of a DY or David Yurman stamp in it. I know my ring is real because I actually pulled it out of the drawer at the Yurman counter when I was working at Saks in Manhattan. I just looked at some rings on Neiman and Nordstrom's websites and I can't see a stamp inside the ring shanks...just the 925 for the silver purity.
Does anybody here have any Yurman that they know came from a Yurman boutique or B&M re-seller and is it stamped with his name?
