I saw these hammered gypsy earrings a few days ago when they were being featured and I ordered.  They arrived yesterday and are very pretty, but I think they are a bit too heavy.  I'm used to wearing studs and light weight hoops and dangles because I don't want to stretch out my ear lobes (again).  I had to have my lobe repaired many years ago by a plastic surgeon.  Anyone else order these and how do you assess the weight -- are they too heavy for you?

i just looked at these, yes very pretty indeed.

if you look at the photo of the model wearing them, her ears don't look pulled down at all.

i bought many pieces of jewelry last year at tjmaxx,  and realised later that they were all rlm.

i like his style.  prices there were awesome as well.

did you get the silver or gold?

@kittyloo Thanks for your reply.  I ordered the silver and I really love them.  Perhaps I'm just used to wearing exceptionally light earrings.  I may give them a try for a couple of hours and see how my ears feel.  I am impressed with RLM's workmanship.  These are the first pieces of his that I've purchased but won't be my last!

I love RLM's pieces, and now have 2 pair of earrings in white bronze.  They are lightweight and a joy to wear.    Maybe you are unaccustomed to the movement of a longer earring?
