@chrystaltreewrote:You get what you pay for you don't get Tiffany's quality diamonds for shopping channel prices. I'm not saying they aren't nice diamonds because I'm sure they are but they aren't flawless or near flawless. I also I think they do sparkle as much as they did when you first got them. Diamonds don't suddenly change. They are what they are. The difference is that when they were new, you loved them and you were happy with your purchase but two months later, the thrill is gone and you are seeing them objectively. If QVC will let you call them defective, return them and get your money back. Next time you buy diamonds, go to a jeweler where you can see, feel and discuss your purchase.
@chrystaltree Seriously?

@151949wrote:I've bought 2 items from Affinity - one is a SS cross that is very filigreed and has a few tiny stones in it. I've had it years and it still sparkles and a watch that has a MOP collar around the face and a few tiny diamonds set around that. It too is years old but still sparkles in the light.Both were inexpensive considering and are still pretty.
@151949 As we’ve seen w/ Diamonique and other jewelry, the quality and workmanship was much better years ago.

I would NEVER buy diamonds from a shopping channel. IMO. Affinity diamonds look like rejects.

Are they guaranteed for life?
How are you able to return them after the 30 days have expired?

Yes. Seriously. Because shopping sight unseen just isn't for everyone. I think there are some people who can't buy shoes without trying them on. They have to put them on, walk around and get the feel of a shoe to get a good fit. There are some people who just cannot buy lotions and perfumes blind, they have see and smell the product to know what they are getting. And there are people who can't buy jewelry without seeing what they are buying. They get carried away by the presentation and all that talk about "value" and what they are really buying isn't clear. That's not an insult. I think it's true of all of us; there are some purchases that we have to see up close and personal. For me, it's makeup. I've tried and I'm always disappointed. I've tried over the years and nothing that I ever received was what I thought it was going to be. Too light, too dark, too sparkly, too thick, not thick enough. I just cannot make a good choice without seeing it and testing it.

@chrystaltree I’m not just any buyer. I’m a jeweler..well schooled in what to expect in diamond earrings for $80. The accusation that I just tired of them and to imply I’m pulling one over on CS is ridiculous. I do buy my diamonds at reputable jewelers...thank you for your obvious advice.
