Just wondering, has anyone taken clip sterling silver earrings to a jeweler and had a post added to convert them to pierced?
Is it easy enough to have done?
Thank you!

You would have to find a jeweler who works with silver. Call around to independent jewelers to see if any work with silver. Avoid the chain store jewelers.
I have a local jeweler who puts studs on leverbacks for me. I do not care for post and fishhook earrings but love leverbacks. I buy inexpensive 14k leverback earrings and save them for when I want studs or a dangle put on them. The cost is more than reasonable.

I have purchased posts that can. E glued onto SOME earrings, if the back of the earring is flat and large enough.
They may be available online you might try Google.

I have seen it done. Some styles are easier to convert than others.

@Grnidkjun: If your jeweler works with silver it is easily done. I had some of my Mothers screwball earrings converted.

I have done it with inexpensive earrings using a jewelry glue(craft dept) & posts from craft stores. For expensive jewelry, I would definitely take to a jeweler.
