@Kachina624 :  Have you ever bought anything from Palms Trading Company? Discovered them tonight and they carry a number of my favorite artists ( may visit them when this pandemic is over-- whenever that is...).

@patbz   No, never heard of them.  Where are they located?  I'll have to check them out.

They used to be on Central but they are still downtown. They've been around since 1933 and started selling pawn jewelry in 1968.  They carry Alex Sanchez, Bennie Ration and I think Watson Honanie ( All my favs ).

@patbz   I checked out their rings and the turquoise in them was not nice.  I'm picky about my turq.

Have you ever shopped at Durango Silver Co.?  I've never been in the store but have seen some beautiful stones online.  Expensive.  I think you can pick a stone and have a piece made by their silversmith.

I have several nice stones I've bought from miners; I need to find a silversmith.  I've bought several stones from an old guy in Gallup who then had rings made by an Indian he knew after I described what I wanted.  He charged me the princely sum of $20. for each ring.  I felt badly paying so little.

I haven't been to Durango Silver ( another one for the list).  Those rings sound like such a deal!
