I just received J297680. While it is very pretty, I am thoroughly confused. I have two other Roman glass rings, both the multi-colored-flakes type of stones. This one is a big, smooth solid cabochon. Is this really a big ole' piece of glass from the Roman era? Wouldn't that be worth a lot more that $79? And if this is indeed genuine, do I need to baby it like the other type, which can't get wet and can flake off? Calling Customer Service will be futile and the video for this item has gone missing. So I'm asking anyone out here if they have this ring, or if anyone knows anything about this type of stone. Thanks.
