Question about Judith turquoise

Do we actually know if the stones are genuine turquoise stones? I don't ever recall hearing about the nature or provenance The reason I am asking is I just checked "neiman Marcus last call" , and out of the four pieces on line that have turquoise, three have "blue synthetic turquoise stations " or "imitation turquoise", including a cuff with three faceted turquoises stones. It would not necessarily stop me from buying, as I buy the look. But I think we should know what we purchase
