Question About J156584, Isaac Pearl & Pave Earrings

I love the looks of these earrings, and want to get the pierced now that they are on clearance and Easy Pay. However, one inch seems very wide to me. Does anyone own these, and do you have an issue or not with them poking into your cheek by your ear?

I watched the video, and it's difficult to say ... the model has a slim face, and the earrings do sit close.
