Re: Queen Elizabeth II Engagement Ring

That will be interesting to see who she leaves that too.

Possibly her only daughter.   Kate is not gonna need it. If I was Kate I 'd wear Di's ring for fancy occasions and buy myself a  proper diamond wedding ring.  Just me, diamonds or nothing.

Rubies, sapphires and such are dinner rings not meant for engagement/wedding rings.

I know all the young are going for semi-precious stones, but, probably a matter of economy more then tradition.

I'd say Prince George or Princess Charlotte? Hope we don't find out too soon.

Re: Queen Elizabeth II Engagement Ring

I heard that most European people used colored gemstones and not diamonds for their wedding sets.

To each her own!
