I'd appreciate some opinions about the quality of jewelry/customer service, etc. at JTV. Thanks!

I have bought several rings and earrings. All have been CZ. The quality is comparable to QVC and HSN. The shipping is quite fast. My recommendation is to watch the item you want - the pricing fluctuates, it seems, from day to day. I buy when something I like appears to be at the lowest price.

I have several pieces from JTV. These aren't big ticket items, some Bella Luce earrings and some tourmaline pieces. The quality is fine, read the reviews , that will help. Shipping is quick and everything is well packaged. I have never purchased diamonds, so maybe someone else can help with that.

Most of my jewelry purchases in the past 2 years have been from JTV. I have returned a couple of items but the value and quality is certainly good. I don't care for their 18k clad jewelry. It is too brassy. But the gem stone jewelry prices and selection can't be beat. Just read reviews if any before buying. No problems with customer service. I try to wait for free shipping to purchase. Usually if spend $49 the shipping is free anytime.

They have probably hundreds of thousands of pieces of jewelry that range from the very inexpensive up to many thousands of dollars so, you should narrow it down to what type of jewelry you are inquiring about. I have shopped with them for about 15 years with only a handful of disappointments. They comparable to the other shopping channels but much better if you are buying high end jewelry. My husband bought my 25th anniversary president from them. A 3ct diamond band. He paid $3500 and a few years ago it appraised for $12,000. I call it my Vegas ring because it's so flashy that I only wear it when we go to Vegas or to some very dressy affair like a big wedding or anniversary party. I want to add some 14k pieces to my jewelry wardrobe and JTV will be my go-to place for that,

I have made purchases at JTV and found the quality to be the same as HSN or QVC very good. I don't like their gold over silver it is too brassy for my taste but their silver is beautiful and sturdy and of course, their real gold is great. They have really good customer service I prefer their chat because any issue is resolved right now which is really nice. They offer insurance on their jewelry for a very small price it is usually for a couple years and I highly recommend getting it to protect your investment. They also offer a wide varitey of gemstones you don't see on any of the other channels. I wanted to add they offer free shipping a lot on their website and I love that!

My first JTV purchase was a fairly inexpensive pair of cubic zirconia (Bella Luce) dangle earings. They seemed pretty so I kept them. Unfortunately, when I went to wear them, I noticed a couple of tiny flaws - either stones missing or discolored stones. I have never really wanted to wear them, but for $28 or so, it wasn't worth trying to return them.
Then, I took the plunge and ordered a one carat diamond and white gold ring (only 10 ct, though - they sell a lot of 10ct). Its beautiful - clean and sparkling diamonds. Thought I would return, but, no way, I love it. I agree, get the Jewel Safe insurance, though, just in case.
So, I haven't bought a lot, although I keep getting tempted. I believe their more expensive pieces are the way to go with JTV. And, I remember that shipping was very quick and is often free..

I've got only positive things to say about JTV. Shipping is quick and their returns/exchanges are pretty painless. I even bought a piece from their "pre-owned" category and it is one of my favorite pieces. It looked brand new to me.
They don't really sell "fine jewelry" and some of the hosts are pretty open about that.
Watch the shows and use their website to educate yourself. The website gives very specific facts about each piece: gram weights, gemstone treatments, etc.
Prices do fluctuate. They often have sales and promotions like "Markdown Monday". Free shipping for orders over $49 seems to always be available if you order through the website.
My biggest complaint is they sell problematic stones like fluorite and Fabulite. Gems like those are very low on the mohs hardness scale and are extremely easy to damage. The only place I've ever seen that mentioned is on the packing slip if you buy one. There is fine print telling you to be extra careful. To me that's pretty shady.

Correct me if I'm wrong but JTV used to be mostly gems, not finished jewelry.
Artisan jewelry is very good, good quality, good price when on special.
I don't buy much, maybe 8-10 pieces in a year but I've had to send back pieces for poor quality. Stone setting failures, and a poor design on an earring. No problem with the return
Some of what they sell is junk, I see the same stuff all over the Internet
Their Bella Luce line is similar to QVCs Diamonique. But I personally think both are overpriced for what you get. There are 1 or 2 hosts I cannot watch because they are so aggressive. Have to turn it down or off.
The same caveat works there as anywhere, you get what you pay for.
Personally, I would prefer to buy a quality stone & have it set myself locally.
Check out their website. Their search is very easy & very specific. They also have items on the website not shown on TV.
