Re: QVC and HSN Needs To Work Together Because....

@Roni18 I sit for hours listening to him talk about his journeys and the jewelry (stones).

I just don't wear large jewelry (just tons of smaller jewelry all at once)...Ha!

@TY I think (just my idea) that another reason jewelry doesn't sell like it used to (assume that's true) is because many young(er) people wear smaller jewelry or not much.  Also, they're perfectly happy to wear what we called costume jewelry.

Probably also people have priorities and with everything so expensive, I guess jewelry takes a back seat to necessary items.

Old(er) people like myself have more disposable income but I don't buy expensive jewelry because, at the age of 71, I figure my family probably won't want the kind of jewelry I like.

I've given to my daughters most of the expensive jewelry they picked out with their Dad for me or that has special meaning for them.

@Annabellethecat66

I agree that young people and especially young women don't wear much jewelry. My daughter only wears a minimal amount of jewelry that has meaning for her as she travels around the world. I have given her a lot of my silver jewelry and if she wants any of what I own, she can have it.

I do think that there's a lot things that young people want out of life and housing is expensive so young people do have other priorities so that jewelry and clothes are the last on the list.
