I'm sure he used the topaz because it's much cheaper than zircon. Yes, there are a lot of prongs to snag things. Michael's jewelry is definitely better quality.

Don't waste your money on cluster gemstones when you can purchase Michael's honker of a Hessonite stone I purchased a while back. I get compliments all the time on that ring. I also have that same ring in his single honker oval stone garnet. Both rings are gorgeous. The huge 12 carat Hessonite ring is 12 carats and it's on clearance marked down 50 percent right now. It's item number 138-102 .

Hi Bling! I didn't get the ring because it didn't "speak to me". I don't think the ring did well with the viewers. I have seen that Honker Hessonite and I might have to re-open my wallet for that one!!

Years ago QVC used to sell some SS jewelry with white topaz. At that time I was trying to accumulate a few pieces of SS. I purchased a line bracelet and a mesh chain with a large teardrop pendant. I think I wore these items once. They have been sitting in my Joy Mango Jewel kit (also purhased from QVC) which contains all my never/seldom worn jewelry. I should pass them on to someone who might appreciate them. Waste of money!

I also didn't purchase the ring. Didn't speak to me at all.
