I am interested in opinions on posting limited quantity Wish List items on these boards. Sometimes they are posted within minutes of showing up on the Wish List. I know posters are doing it with good intentions -- sharing a good deal, being helpful to others. I've had mixed feelings because I have benefited from seeing the posts when I didn't have the item on my Wish List. On the other hand I have also lost out on items I've had on my Wish List but, because they were posted on the boards very quickly, the items were gone before I had a chance to look at the WL (and I check frequently). For me, I've now decided I won't post any more LQ Wish List items on the boards until several days have gone by and most people have had a chance check their Wish List.
What do you think? All is fair in love and retail or hold off and give people with the item on their Wish List a chance to benefit?
