I'm gettng ready to go "out" and since I'm running early,  thought I'd take the time to give my "everyday" jewelry (earrings and rings) a quick once-over.  (I use toothpaste and old toothbrush on my SS and damonque, followed by polish with soft polishing cloth.)

I had hairspray build-up on my earrings ... and they looked so dull.  Got to remember to cover my earrings before I spray my hair.

Kathy Levine (yeah,I know Kathy who?) jewelry should be the last thing you put on.

Isn’t it always a shock?  And embarrassing!  But so pretty when they sparkle ❇️

I recently cleaned some rings of mine. They definitely get dull from wear and hand cream usage.

Why not put earrings on after you spray your hair ?

Because I'd have to move my hair in order to put in the earrings ... that defeats the whole purpose of spraying my hair to stay in place.

Earrings have to go in before hair spray ... otherwise I'd have to move my hair out of the way to put in the earrings.

Makes sense !  Rather than cover with your hand, those cotton squares might be helpful and reusable.
