I thoroughly enjoyed watching "Vault Discovery" shows, especially 7pm. Wow!!!
Beautiful Gems, Peyton as always brings so much. Rick was cute to watch! He more than once became speechless from the items shown. Great show!!

I was pleasantly surprised when he I saw him as I changed channels.
I thought it was funny when at the end (paraphrasing), Rick said, "I was speechless. Something that doesn't happen very often". Mr. Kelly said, (kinda under his breath) "Yes, I know". He didn't say it in a mean way and I didn't take it that he did.
It was just cute kinda like one friend kidding another.

@Sweet_Serenity, I wish Mr. Kelly was back at QVC. He is so knowledgeable and a perfect gentleman. People replacing him cannot hold a candle to this man. Mr. Kelly is a great teacher and has more experience. He is knowledgeable and explains stones so well. Come on "Q" bring Mr. Kelly BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A pleasure to watch.

I always liked Peyton and so I'm sorry I didn't see him on Gem Day.
I did see the newer jewelry man whose name hasn't registered with me yet. I like him as much as I did Peyton. I think he's holding the candle very well - knows a lot, and worked very well with the hosts I saw him with, and mentioned things about opals and amythysts I'd never heard.
Maybe Peyton doesn't want the hours and responsibility of QVC full time nowadays??? Is he old enough to want to do other things?

I read in multiple places that he was fired from QVC. I think it happened when QVC bought HSN, and the current gem couple came from there. Peyton addressed, it in a very subtle way, on his Facebook page but was cautious so as not to burn his bridges. He indicated that he had no intention of retiring and was staying in the gem business. I think his return is partly due to customer complaints about his disappearance; I also think the hosts were upset, based on their comments.

*The group that owns QVC bought HSN last December.*
It was WONDERFUL to see Peyton Kelley on air again! He is such a natural in sharing his knowledge about and love for gemstones and jewelry. It's always interesting to see him paired with Rick since they're complete opposites in personality, but it worked out well this time around and was a joy to behold.

I loved seeing him. Unfortunately he was showing an Imperial Topaz pear cut ring, not my favorite stone or price point. I think QVC is floundering in their jewelry division. Too much lesser priced competition. I notice they did attempt to offer some more modest prices. Did I buy? No, I'm on a jewelry diet. Also, I think Evine has more entertaining vendors, even if a couple of them are a bit over the top. I'm thinking of you, Chuck and Michael. You sure manage to keep my attention.
