I love to hear him provide information. I wish that the hosts would allow him to speak without interupting him . I wish they would stop with their nonsense stories, I never understand bringing in a specialist and not allowing them to speak.

His he was just talking about the Arizona peridot ring and said in effect that she's stop talking so Peyton could give us the story.

I like Jane, though. She's excited about the gems and she's just trying to do her job.

Re: Peyton Kelley, you rock!

I have always appreciated the knowledge Peyton has regarding gemstones.  I enjoy reading his Facebook page, full of information.

I certainly do think he brings special items for Vault Discoveries.

However, even now, and especially when he was the QVC buyer, he allowed many of those lovely gemstones to be set next to lower quality diamonds or to be encased in somewhat flimsy gold settings.

When jewelry is priced in the multi-thousands, I expect high quality in all departments.   I rarely splurge on these items because I am very picky about my diamonds.

He didn't set those diamond parameters; QVC did.  He finally got them to up the ante on some of the Affinity pieces and he just mentioned that he agreed the diamonds next to these rare gems needed to be higher quality, per customer request, at least minimum SI or higher, for example, on clarity.

I could live with no diamonds on these pieces. To me it's all about the gemstones. But I understand wanting the best.

Yes, Peyton is very good.  I used to enjoy his blog posts here, back when they still had blogs.  Michele Lau is also very good; I enjoyed her with MBR today.
