Re: Peter Thomas Roth

[ Edited ]

I think he looked great before and looks great now.  Besides, doesn't it always take some time (how long depends on someone's own physiology) after a weight loss for the body to adjust?

His designs are elegant, and I do not think they are anything at all like any of the other designers on QVC.  Far from it.  None of them have that simple elegance of PTR.

I wish he'd started his jewelry line earlier.  I was still working then and wouldn't have had to think twice about ordering.

By the way, what is wrong with a midlife crisis?  It's not really a crisis, as everyone knows.  It's a reassessment.  What triggered it could be any number of things from trivial to giant.   To me, this looks like someone who has taken his life in his own hands and is continuing to make sure he is living it the way he wants.  And more power to him, as the saying goes.  We should all be so determined (if change is what we want).

I don't understand the path he's taken into the jewelry world, but I'm not the one buying jewelry. I've noticed so many other women must be thinking the same as me and not wearing as much jewelry these days. Seems to me that this guy is just taking advantage of the QVC crowd that knows him so well. Can't blame him for that! As far as the way he looks - I have to say I liked his "before" pic.
