Emerald and Pink Sapphire cuffs

They very much have the look and feel of the couture collection.

Since it's overcast, with a heavy presence of showers in the area, and they just arrived, I have not taken them for a spin drive in sunlight. However, these babies do not need sunlight to electrically sparkle; they do it very well all by themselves.

The silver presence is substantial, but very much a bit player. The berge carvings are subtle and there is alternating directions of "Vs" on both edges of each cuff, all the better to allow light to caress the stones from underneath.

The color of both gemstones is magnificent, to use a very over used word. The emeralds are medium to dark and not an included one in the bunch. The sapphires are in the medium range of hue, with a subtle hint of purple in the background. Both seem to emit their own glow from within. The baguette cut, with a point on both ends, lends itself to the pops of color as one's wrist moves. I have both on the same wrist and the colors compliment each other. For my 6" wrist I took a chance and got the small and it fits very well, with just the slightest amount of play in the cuff. Lately most averages seem to flop around and always land upside down. I exchanged both MoP Auroras for small and am happy that I did.

These cuffs exceeded my expectations, and then some.
