Pearl Question

I bought a strand of 20" 12-14 MM platinum perals (freshwater) from shopnbc Kwan collection last week when they were having chinese new year celebration. I just received them and they are beautiful. They sent an appraisal card from the North American Gemological Laboratory, stating the appraisal value of #3500.00. Now the big question is - is this a lejet company? They were having real specials for these but I only paid $268. They do have some dimples and bings, but very small, and they have thick nacre.

I'm not a real pro when it comes to pearls and need some help on these. Item number is J409823.
