Nice to have some company here today  Your big pearl sounds lovely ... would love to see a picture of it! Did you have it custom set ... by a jeweler? My pearl doesn't seem too heavy, but maybe that's in comparison to strands of Tahitians LOL  ...

Cathy:  no the pearl wasn't custom made.  I bought it many years ago from a pearl vendor who had a 'store' at a large jewelry exchange.  I'm sorry I have no ability to post pics.  It's frustrating and makes it hard to 'share'.

Cathy I can't wait to see what you find in your jewelry box for pendants. I have a few more that might work. I love gemstones but don't wear them much anymore but if I add pearls I will.

Will have to see what I can find, Newberry  Most of my pendants are small, so not sure. Actually, I rarely go in that jewelry box since PEARLS ... LOL I did have a small gold angelfish, with colorful enamels on ... I was just dying to drop a small pearl from it, but John was afraid it would wreck the enamels, so it sits lonely and forelorn in the box

Cathy my pendents haven't seen the light of day for years. Pearls every day for me. 

My new strand for Sarah at Kojima. I have been thinking about it since I tried it on in April. Love the huge drop. sarah did a slight remodel for me and I am thrilled.

I hardly even open my other jewelry boxes since my pearl epiphany last year LOL. I always had a generous sprinkling of white pearl pendants and earrings etc. ... but now ...  We leave today for a long wedding weekend near Annapolis ... the only jewelry going along is a BIG bag of pearls te he ... with their coordinating clothing.
