PayPal and refund

I purchased something from ebay with the credit card using paypal and for some reson i returned it. The seller issued a refund the same day he received the item. I got an email from paypal that the seller has issued me a refund. The money has not been credited back to my credit card yet but instead it says "pending" tilll tuesday. Does anyone know how long does it take for paypal to release funds back to my credit card. Thanks
