Pearl Paradise friends, a quick question. Is it just me or has pearlparadises.com's prices gone up alot?

Ten years ago I bought an akoya white 7.0-7.5mm set with 16 inch necklace, 7 inch bracelet and stud earrings for $739. It now sells for $1199. But all of the prices are substantially higher. Have you noticed? 

Also, I don't like the new website. You used to be able to pick your overtones such as rose or silver it is not user friendly anymore.

 As with everything price has gone up .  You can still get different overtones of white akoyas, but you may need to call. You didn't say what quality you purchased, but I see two sets of AA+ a 16" and 18"  and AAA.

Hanadama Akoyas are also there but are much higher.

Freshadama grade are top of the line flawless round freshwaters.  This price seems very good to me.

I purchased AAA quality with rose overtones.

SL, The photographer changed and the photos reflect it.  I liked the old photos better.

Both people were great photographers , but it's hard to judge what you're getting now, especially when the photo shows the exact strand for sale.
