ALL Gemstones are bought in mm size, even though it is bought in US dollors, NO matter what market you're in. QVC buyers know this...
The host trying to measure the gemstones with a ruler is Ridculous and when I go to the website I dont know what the size of the Gemstones are because QVC does not have it noted. I don't want to keep buying the same size Gemstones, I like vaiety. Its cost ALOT to keep returning jewelry because I keep getting the same size and I dont have that much time to waste.
QVC in Europe has the mm size, WHY can't we do it here in the US? You use it when talking about PEARLS...WHY not on the rest of the Gemstones? The other shopping channels talk about their Gemstones in mm size, join the group, PLEASE.

That's true, it's always been the case. QVC doesn't proved mm sizes and they don't provide gram weights on the gold or the silver. The Tanzanite isn't graded. So, you never know what you are buying with QVC jewelry. Not a problem for me. I buy my jewelry from the shopping channels that tell me what I'm buying.

They also need to list the dimensions of watches in mms. They are the only seller with whom I've shopped that doesn't do this. Makes them look like amateurs.

I also would like to know the size of the gemstone, be it 8/10 or 8/6 or whatever. I started to order the marquis gemstone ring with diamonds, but have read reviews of the small diamonds falling out of some of the expensive rings and do not want to take the risk. No one ever address the issue of stones falling out. An expensive piece of jewelry should not have stones falling out!

@gemjunky89 @Kachina624 @chrystaltree Shop with a local jeweler with a GIA degree. An excellent jeweler will provide exactly what you want for far less money and much higher quality than you'll ever find on a shopping channel. Get to know him/her and ask to see the stones you love and are interested in purchasing. Find the color, cut, shape, size, and clarity you really want. If he/she doesn't have it in the vault, once you've become a good customer they will find several stones to please you. Then, more fun awaits you! The jeweler is also a master craftsman. He/she is an artist and is able to either help you find an existing setting (and mounting of your choice) or a custom designed piece for your new stone. You'll have a one-of-a-kind piece. It will be far more intoxicating than the stuff you see on QVC or any of the other shopping channels. Buy from a qualified professional who will stand behind their product for much longer than 30 days! Spending that kind of money on-line and on TV is not the best value. Be careful.

I agree! I've repeatedly sent this same request to Q.

Those ruler measurements are highly inaccurate. We pretty much are familiar with the MM"s because (newsflash) we also watch other channels. Get with the program, please.
