I'm trying to figure out the difference (besides the obvious reversibility) of J289497 and J289413. One is described as polished and one is woven. Both appear flexible but the price difference is big. Any thoughts please? TIA.

J289497 is a true omega, with the gold wrapped around a mesh core. I think it's the better value, even though it costs more.

It seems the true omega has the traditional view of wrapped bands of gold around a core. The other one looks more woven. The traditional one is shown with pendants, the other one is not recommended for pendants as it's less weighty and may get dragged down by a pendant or even perhaps kinked if you put a pendant on it.

I ordered the cheaper one although it's actually more expensive per gram. I got it in white gold because I already have a substantial yellow gold true omega purchased back in 2000 and I just wanted a lighter necklace that will stay up at my neckline in white gold.

I ordered the white flexible omega on the gold rush show. I know Lisa said it isn't recommended for pendants but I am hoping to use it for a couple of my lighter weight pendants that require a white metal. I already have a good yellow gold omega so I needed a white one.
