Older chunkier Ripka chains vs. newer ones

Hi,

I know this has been discussed before, so sorry for repeating. I have about 4 older chains that are much chunkier, thicker than the newer thinner/delicate chains. I noticed one has tarnished (others have not.) The older chains do tarnish but not the newer ones? (I did use a polishing cloth and it looks fine now.)

I find that I prefer the newer chains and always lean towards wearing them. I hardly ever wear my chunkier chains. Anyone else?
