I'll keep this brief since it's not about CP or jewelry but just needed to share with you all. My father, who is 97 years young, lives in his own apartment in a retirement community. Today he tripped and fell. His glasses cut his forehead and he needed a couple of stitches - but he didn't break his glasses! He's fine and the nurse at where he lives checked him out and, as is procedure there, called an ambulance. He should be getting home soon from the emergency room. It's hard for me cuz he lives near San Diego and I'm here in the Bay Area. When he fell he was going out to his patio for his afternoon tea and cookies and do you that silly man still had his cookies in his hand when the nurse found him and wouldn't give them up!

Anyway, I'm just feeling a little upset tonight and didn't have anyone really to talk to about it. My daughter (age 33) loves her Grandpa very much and was crying and upset so had to be strong for her. Thanks all for letting me unload a bit.
