Last night was one of the best shows ever! I am watching back songs on YouTube, and not only do I love the duets by the coaches together and with their team members, but I have never heard anybody cover Elvis in the way Christina Grimme did - and I am a huge Elvis fan who doesn't take kindly to other people attempting his songs.

For those who don't watch this show but love Elvis, go to YouTube and check out her rendition of "Can't Help Falling In Love." This is the link, and I don't know if it will work, but just go to YouTube and type in "The Voice" and you will find it. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

It was so great! They are also doing a recap show in the hour before the finale starts, so, maybe, they will show it again at that time. The duet with Josh and Usher was a surprise, in terms of song choice, but it really worked!

My favorites are gone, but, unlike a lot of other types of these shows, I think most of top 12 or 15 on this show are worth watching and enjoying.

(Jena, on AI, did that song last week and received great feedback, and, while I thought it was nice, I liked Christina's better, but that is a matter of opinion.)

tk - I think Josh has been overrated. I didn't like his final song last night. It was overdone and Usher-ed up dramatic. He doesn't have the power in his voice to sing an Adele song. I like Jake, too. Keeping my fingers crossed for Team Adam and hope that by next season his hair color is back to normal! {#emotions_dlg.blink}

I didn't like Josh's song last night. I felt it was a bad choice for him. I was nervous the whole time he was singing. He seemed to struggle and it came across as him screaming in desperation.

I only like the blind auditions. After those, I stop watching. They do find great talent but I just don't have the interest to watch week after week.

Delvin was actually my very favorite, followed closely by Sishauna (sp?). Adam had it right, imo. But, like I said, I think that they are all worthwhile. (I have to lip-synch "Happy Birthday," so it does not take much to be better than me!)

Adam's hair color is just not right. I tried to give it time, thinking that maybe I am just not used to it. Having given it that time...Nope, it is just wrong!

I totally agree with you. I wasn't a fan of the Elvis song either. These in my opinion were both oversang. I know they are singing for their lives but this does not sound pleasing to my ear. I'm glad at least for Josh that Usher pointed out he is the idea behind The Voice in that he is multifaceted. I barely recognized it was him. I however loved the Usher/Adam duo. They don't oversing, they relax, have a good time and it sounds good to me. Obviously they have a ton more experience but I really feel they connect with the audience and listener. I had never heard that song before and had no connection to it and they totally captivated my attention the entire performance which is a tough task since I usually have my ipad on my lap. I'm hoping Josh wins because Blake and Adam have won multiple times. I'd really like to see Usher win.

I agree. I loved Delvin and I don't like Adam's hair. {#emotions_dlg.lol}. I swear it was toned down a little in color this week. Last week it was awful. On the Voice FB page someone posted Adam for the love of God, change your hair back to brown and it had about 500 likes at the time. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

My favorite, Kristen, is gone so my alliegance is floating. Actually the final three go on tour, don't they? I honestly don't get the experimentation by the coaches, like Josh doing the Adele song and whatever they gave Kat last week. She is a rocker, period. Too late to remake her. These switcheroos wouldn't work with established artists. Can you imagine Taylor Swift and Adele doing each others songs? Guess I'll go put on an Adele CD. Yes, I still buy CD's.

Kristen was one of my choices for the top three of the five from last week. I hope that she has a wonderful career...you just want to pull for her!
