OMG, what a nightmare here in New York!!! First, let me say, I sincerely pray that everyone on this coast is safe & didn't have damage done to their homes. My heart goes out to those people that have not only lost belongings, home, but have lost their lives.

Secondly, I am happy & thankful to say that where I am, the damage was minimal......huge trees were uprooted & fell every which way......but, again thankfully, I have heard of any fatalities. There was little rain in my area, so no flooding.

The only loss was my cable company had a transformer that blew......which means, thanks to the wonderful "bundle" package.......no t.v., phone, & worst of all, NO COMPUTER!!!! Honestly, I thought I was going through withdrawal!!!! My first thought when this happened was......."thank G-d Judith Ripka was on BEFORE the storm!!!!" Speaking of which, I received my beautiful rose gold watch & Hamsa (Hand of G-d) charm today!!!. The charm is just beautiful (in my opinion, of course). I don't have to tell you how magnificent the color rose is....I can't wait to wear this watch. I also received the replacement for the silver watch, white face. Unfortunately, I'm sending this back. I think I got someone's return that wore this watch because it looked a little funky on the inside of the band. CS has already sent out another replacement without waiting for this return.

Oh, in case you're wondering how I'm able to get on the internet now......well, my daughter came over with a wireless internet connection gizmo & hooked my computer up. I can get on line, but evidently can't send any emails out.....they're still in my "out box".....so to all my Sistas that were at the luncheon.........all is okay. I also sent these wonderful women an email.....which, yes, is still sitting in my "out box"!!!!

Now it's time to catch up on what I've missed here......& make no mistake.....I missed everyone & everything about the Q!!!!
