It has been a very rocky couple of days for DS#2.
Even though he is on one of the most powerful antibiotics, almost immediately he developed fever. It eventually reached about 102. Naturally, it has us very worried. Fortunately by yesterday it had dropped to normal and he finally began to try some solid food, albeit not a lot but it all stayed down.
DS was given two blood transfusions, one being donated blood form DH a week earlier, and they have talked about giving him another, but so far not.
He has gotten out of bed and walked to outside his room and back again. I can only begin to imagine what an ordeal that was to accomplish.
The plan is to transfer him this AM to his rehabilitation hospital where he will be for 2 weeks or so of extreme work. Hopefully no major health missteps will sneak into the picture.

I have jury duty on Monday. I hope that by mid-week I can get back to my regular routines.
I've received all three JRQ orders and I've a lot to share.
Hope everyone is well.
