I watched the JAI presentation this morning--such incredibly beautiful pieces! And I loved hearing all the background/stories behind each one.
I had not heard of Scott before, and from the way he spoke I thought he was the designer of the pieces. But not so sure: I seen descriptors saying he's the spokesperson; the curator; a jewelry stylist. On LinkedIn his profile says his degree is in Political Science and Government.
So, my question is: designer, or source of inspiration for the designs?
In any case, he spoke knowledgeably and charmingly about the collection, and seems to feel a real connection with the people of the countries he's visited.

He started the 7pm show saying that he's worked for John Hardy for six years and trained under the best. From his presentations, he clearly has a hand in the designs.
He seems like a very sweet man.

I just watched the 7 PM (4PM here) show I taped, and he totally, and beautifully, explained his background working for/ with John Hardy.
Incredible travels; incredible inspirations for designs!
