Non-centred post earrings, anyone like them?

I don't. I want my post earrings to have the post right in the middle. I have large earlobes, pierced right in the center, and like my earrings to sit centrally.

Why do they make earrings with that off-center post? Is it easier/cheaper to make them like that?

I see a lot of reviews that say they loved the earring but wished it had a center post. I never see anyone saying they love the offset post. So why do they make them that way?
