Okay! Let's decorate! I will bring the cushions to put on the bench, because I figure we are going to be on that bench a good long time......! Something comfortable....I believe the bench should be Ripka sage in color with a good sturdy backing. The cushions will be a tufted button linen. No silk! It stains and we will mostly likely slip off if we laugh too hard!

Do we want a design on our cushion or a solid? I was thinking either a toile or floral pattern for the cushion. What do you think Sammycat?

We need to pick out some end tables, coffee tables, throws, throw pillows, mirrors, and a wet bar! Oops! Lamps too!

The wet bar must have storage with a wine fridge and a mini fridge. On top of the wet bar we need an espresso machine and a margarita machine. What else?

I think Judith should design the bench under your supervision! As long as we can make it into a reclining bench -- I have a bad knee that I'll be having knee replacement on this winter. I need to be able to prop my leg up even as I acquire more treasures! (And don't forget several, tasteful side tables that we can place our drinks and credit cards on during show time).

Great idea with the recliner's! I am sorry that you are having knee problems Sammycat....hopefully the surgery you get will be a success and you will be on the mend in no time!

I was thinking a beautiful lighter sage green on the background of the linen fabric for the bench/recliners. Then the pattern should be a tasteful floral design in roses and mums, with tones of pale yellow, pinks, and subdued brown with highlights of white.

I think we should have our end tables as beautiful old English oak bases with oval glass beveled tops. Where we will have JR silver trays laid out to put our credit cards on. What do you think of large rounded ottomans that open up? They would have a dual purpose, seating and storing away our handbags. The fabric should be a soft sage green suede, what do you think?

I then believe the wet bar should also be old English oak with a beautiful beveled edge glass top, to match the end tables. We should have more silver trays for our snacks....whatever snacks the Ripkanista's want!

We need another large round table.....under the beautiful Swarovski chandelier! To lay out all our JR jewelry. We also must have a 60" LED HDTV or larger to view the shows.

Who else would like to add on to the room where we have our BGB?
