I received the amber ring and I love it! It is smaller than most of Judith's rings, so it is wearable for every day. I just have to be a little careful since it is a softer stone on the Moh's scale. It has just a touch of diamonique - enough for a tiny bit of sparkle and to make it special.

Now for the amber part - it just glows! It has a rich honey color. The gallery is almost fully enclosed which means the silver on the bottom provides a reflective surface for the amber which brings out the rich color. Mine has a few specs of particulate matter - probably bits of plants that got fossilized. It's just enough to know it's real amber. I've seen compressed amber before, and this is not compressed. I also don't like when amber is too dark, and this is not dark at all. For me, the color is just perfect.

Sorry I can't do pics, but maybe someone else will.

What a great review, I am glad you love it. I have the Ambrosia Honey Corundum Monaco ring, 34" necklace and earrings in the Contempo, all JR2. I would love an enhancer and I thought the citrine and amber cross was so stunning. I'm tempted, but I am easily tempted. Enjoy your new goodie!

I'm so glad to hear you like your new ring! I love amber too. In your opinion, which finger does it look best on? Enjoy!

waterbaby - I thought that amber cross was fabulous. I know I wouldn't wear it or else I would have been tempted. Maybe you'll add it to your wishlist? Your JR2 peices sound wonderful.

Crazed - thank you. I love Judith's texture/carving on it too. I think this design would be great with other stones too. It's like the Goldilocks ring - not too big and not too small, not too plain and not too fancy. Just right... In fact, I think it would make a great TSV ring - maybe in MOP, black spinel, turquoise, lapis, various chalcedonies.

Mindabunny - I bought it for my middle finger and it looks great there, but it also looks good on the ring finger. For those who like small rings, it may look like too much on the ring finger and may be more comfortable on the middle finger. Somehow it looks a tad smaller worn on the middle finger compared with the ring finger. But if you like things on the smaller side and you want a bigger look, then the ring finger would work. I hope that explanation makes sense.

Your new amber rings sounds very pretty -- the amber is such a warm color. Wear it in the best of health. The amber ring and cross were both beautiful.
