I don't use one because of all the cautions on different stones. Well, today I picked two of my diamond rings to wear and checked them with a loupe. Positively filthy, even though I cleaned them with an electric toothbrush last time I had them out. Sonic seems the only way to go.

Try cleaning with a regular old toothbrush and some soapy ammonia. Thats6what mom used and her diamonds always sparkled.

I use this pen to clean my stones. First you wet the bristles then twist up the cleaner. Those bristles get into every nook and cranny. The twist-up cleaner is what makes this work because it is formulated with a slightly abrasive jewelry cleaner that can 'scrub' off dirt and grime without harming anything. When you're done then rinse and dry off the bristles before you replace the cap.
This stuff is top-rated and you can buy a 3-pk for $15 on amazon. It's so quick and easy to use. You can clean your jewelry just about any where, no electricity needed.

Invest in a steam cleaner: it is what jewelers use. The sparkle in diamonds and gold that have been cleaned this way is truly unbelievable. Well worth the $100.

Whichever type of cleaning machine you purchase, try to find a whole jewelry online catalog...get a professional one. They do come in smaller sizes (I have a lg. one in my studio, but a small one in my laundry room for personal use). Check online Rio Grande.

We have a wholesaler named Kingsley Norrth in the area, not a clue what they have besides strung beeds and rock tumblers. I've bought from Rio Grande years ago, I'm surprised I didn't think of them. Thanks, all !

I'm impressed with all their products.
It's all I use.
I get mine at Walmart, their stock is hit or miss, sometimes I get lucky

I have one wedding band I got at auction with a row of tiny diamonds. The backs of those babies are just impossible. There's a good 50 years of debris crammed in those tiny cubicles. With two recommendations for the Dazzle Stick I'll give it a try.

My mom worked with tiny electronics and used a sonic cleaner for the tiny parts & tools. Sometimes she would put her eyeglasses in there too!
