Need help with watch batteries

How do you replace the batteries in your watches? I have a number of them and it is hard to find anyone to put in a new battery. I have done one myself, which has a back that can be popped off, but several of the watches have screws on the cover and I can't remove them. Another has a pop-off back, but I haven't been able to remove it. I'd appreciate input. Walmart used to do this when you bought a battery, but now they won't unless you bought the watch there. Ha-elllp!
