The email we received about the new shipping rates is long overdue but really awesome. They listened - $3.00 for jewelry will make a big difference for a lot of us. I still won't be buying much (manly because I already have too much - LOL) but on occasion I will be a lot more inclined to buy with this more reasonable shipping! Now if they would only offer a combined shipping fee- LOL!
Comments anyone?

But no 1/2 off shipping on 2 or more of the same items and no refund of original S&H on returns unless they're defects or Q made an error on the order. So with one hand they give and the other they take...but at least its a huge first step.

Yes - true - that's why one should be able to combine things for a better rate - I mostly order jewelry though so $3.00 sounds good to me!

Hello all, we do need to check our orders to make sure we are charged the new S&H rates. I placed two jewelry orders this morning and the old rate was still listed and charged. I called CS and they adjusted the S&H charge. I saved $3.47 on the s&h for these two items. Some of the new rates will be good and in some cases not so much, IMO. But, today it was good for me.

Thanks for sharing that info - I don't order much anymore but that is good advice to heed -

Now that I am not ordering as much, the new fee would be a good thing, but the no refund is not so good. I might be inclined to rethink ordering now that the shipping is lower. Prior shipping and handling was too high, especially on either clearance items of lower priced items, which brought the amount too high and I didn't order. No bargain.

Looks like Q is trying to cut down on ""returns"" by not offering to refund shipping costs. I disagree with this policy due to the constant ""sizing"" issues on clothing. I will be paying close attention to items (if any) that are offered with ""free shipping"". And I will be reading reviews on clothing very closely before ordering - no more TSV clothing shopping.
I agree this is a good policy for jewelry items.
They needed to do something with all the boards complaining loud and clear about rising shipping rates.

Don't forget that you DON'T have to use the return label! If the item is under 1lb, you can send it back First Class for $1 - $3 dollars. I'm thinking of very light weight items. Heavier items of course can be much more, and the shipping label can be a great savings compared to it.
But yes, the price of postage (either way) has always been a determining factor as to whether or not I go through with the sale.

I have more or less stopped buying clothing because of this. Sizing was never an issue for years.... but the last few years, I've had to return more than I've kept so I've stopped buying clothing for the most part. And I'm one who knows my garment size and checks the chart with every item purchased.... the sizing chart is NOT 100% accurate at all!
