I am happy with my choices from Gem Day.  I ordered J405925.  I chose the purple garnet center stone, with a halo of white zircon and an outer halo of Ethiopian opals.  Exquisite!  The purple garnet has a little bit of color change going on, sometimes purple and sometimes red, with lots of color flashes coming from inside.  It is the opals that make it or break it.  Each one is glowing and colorful.  The product rep/gem specialist (Michele) did say that all the opals are colorful, and she was right.  

At the end of the day, I caved on the Paperclip with Gemstone necklace J406079.  I had not jumped on the paperclip train up to now.  But  the sparkle of the chain, and the additions of a small gemstone, gave me a push.  The citrine is a very light color, but does sparke.  (May not keep this one.)  The peridot is not as dark as in the video, but is still a nice Spring green.  The total winner is the garnet!  I was afraid it would be too dark, with perhaps a brownish tone.  But it is deep true red, with flashes of color coming from inside.  I am on waitlist for the white topaz.

I think these necklaces will be good on their own in the Summer, and good options for layering together or with other silver chains.  I can see the garnet being a nice layering piece with some of my American West pieces.  

There is so much variation with gemstones.  If you get one you like, it is a real treat.

@LMinAZ  After reading your post about the paperclip necklace I checked it out. Love it! I have the citrene in my cart. I'm trying to be strong about buying right now but it's a great price.
