I have just received my new earings.

They are from Joan Rivers collection, I got them from Etsy and  they are pocelain roses (that's what the descriptiom said)

I am not trying to hurt your feelings but the right earring looks like it is missing a piece.  That is, a piece of it is missing.  It's like an indent and a different texture than the rest of the earring.

Let me take another picture, perhaps you can see if there's a difference. My eyes surely are getting bad (I cannot see very well, on the left eye, 80 per cent my sight is gone, I have macual degeneration)

The earrings look much better in the 2nd pic. 

The box they came in looks nasty & dirty.

@Mz iMac you are rigjt dear, the box came in an enveloppe and it was a little torn the paper, I could see part of the box without openning the paper.

I am glad that I received the earings not broken and as you well said, the box was very much used, I could tell.

I put it in a plastic bag and threw in outside the house into the bin trash.

These porcelain rose earrings were very popular in the '40s and '50s.  I remember seeing them in my grandmother's jewelry box.
