I received my ring today (blue topaz). It's a beautiful color blue, and the workmanship is superb, as his pieces always are.  But.....the stone does fall to the side on my finger.  I wear a size 4 and that is the size I got and it does fit.  However, because it is top heavy since it's such a large stone, and it doesn't have the European shank, the ring just falls to the side.  I have his "mini" ring in garnet and even it has a European shank, so I don't understand why he wouldn't do that for this ring since the stone is so much larger than the mini.  It's a beautiful ring, but I know I wouldn't ever wear it knowing the ring would always just flop to the side of my finger.

@NiteStar   Check this product out on HSN before you send it back! It is made just fior what your ring is doing . Many rings twist.....this product will fix it and is transparent when on your finger. I watched the presentation yesterday.

I have a white silicone product recommended by Esmerelda Gooch that you put on the inside back of the ring.  Once it's on the finger you can't see it at all and it makes the ring slip-proof.  Great for people that have fingers that go up or down with the heat or weight.  Hopefully he will make more rings with Euro shank.

That's a shame @NiteStar.  I've got some white putty like stuff I got from the Q years ago that hardens into something like rubber inside the band of a ring.  It has worked well for me but of course they no longer carry it.
